Terms of service

 

These Terms of Service govern the use of services provided by ProFix IT. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Services Provided

ProFix IT provides professional remote IT services, including but not limited to:

  • Remote IT support and troubleshooting
     
  • Email and domain management
     
  • Website design and setup
     
  • Network, WiFi and system assistance
     
  • General IT consulting
     

Services are provided remotely unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Scope & Limitations

ProFix IT makes every reasonable effort to resolve issues quickly and professionally. However, we are not responsible for:

  • Hardware failures
     
  • Data loss caused by viruses, malware, or system corruption
     
  • Internet service provider outages
     
  • Third-party services such as Microsoft, Google, hosting providers, or software vendors
     
  • Issues that existed before support was requested
     

Clients are responsible for maintaining backups of their data.

3. Support & Access

Remote access may be required to provide support. The client grants ProFix IT permission to access systems for the purpose of troubleshooting and maintenance. ProFix IT will only access systems related to the requested support.

4. Payment & Billing

  • One-time support sessions must be paid before work begins.
     
  • Monthly support packages are billed in advance.
     
  • Support hours included in monthly packages do not roll over unless otherwise agreed.
     
  • Late or unpaid accounts may result in suspension of services.
     

All prices are subject to change with notice.

5. Website & Hosting Services

ProFix IT builds and configures websites but does not control hosting platforms, domain providers, or email servers. We are not responsible for downtime, server outages, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers.

6. Confidentiality & Privacy

ProFix IT respects client privacy. All client information is kept confidential and is used only for the purpose of providing services. We do not sell or share client data with third parties.

7. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services at any time with written notice. Outstanding invoices must be paid before services are fully discontinued.

8. Liability

ProFix IT is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. We are not responsible for business losses, data loss, or downtime beyond the scope of our support.

9. Changes to These Terms

ProFix IT may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
